Oktoberfest

This October 27th Council 11138 hosted its annual Oktoberfest.   Jim Whalen and his band of potato peelers brought 20 pounds of potato salad, 50 brats, a gallon of sauerkraut, red cabbage and three apple strudels.  About 37 people signed up for the event and over 50 people showed up!  All of the food was eaten and all of the beer drank.

The featured speaker was Maria Costa, Dr. Laurentin-Perez's wife. She has a Master degree in Public Relations and is the coordinator for the Foundations for Life program at Catholic Charities Tampa.  Many thanks for Maria Costa.
